Hello!
I’m Nickie.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Nickie spent her childhood between Pennsylvania and upstate New York moving then to NC in her early teenage years.
Nickie attended Miller Motte College starting in the surgical technology program. When she realized she didn’t like the sight of blood, she looked for other opportunities in the healthcare field. She remembered as a child, how strongly touch made an impact on her mother who suffered from chronic illness. This is when she decided that massage therapy was where she was supposed to be.
Nickie opened McKenzie’s Therapeutic Massage in 2016 in Fuquay Varina, the place she has called home for over half of her life. The goal has always been to bring a sense of health and wellness to the community. It’s important for people to know that massage is not just a luxury, but a form of healthcare.
When Nickie is not working, she is more than likely spending time with her husband and her two corgis. She finds running to be her favorite social activity and enjoys strength training. Nickie is currently on the committee as the volunteer co-lead for the RunThe Quay, the local 5K, 10K, and 15 Quay race held the first Saturday in June.
